  1. Felicitations, bouquets and applause for your forthcoming happy event! And cake. Lots of cake. Terrific news.

  2. Congratulations!

While it’s none of my business what strange things you both get up to in your spare time, I do have to ask…. why might you NOT be giving birth to a ‘human’ baby?

    1. Thank you all for your kind words and congratulations.

There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy Reuben. 😉

  3. … I was just concerned that you hadn’t got involved in a Midwich Cuckoos type situation, John….

  4. @Reuben I’m posting about a brick wall. I’m posting about a brick wall. I’m posting about a brick wall. I’m posting about a brick wall…

[EDIT – now realised that the whole brick wall thing only occurs in Village of the Damned and not the original novel. So much for that reference :(]

  5. @john (when did we all start talking in tweets???) You just proved to me how out of the loops I have no idea who that is. What is he, like a ghetto version of Springer or Mauri???

  6. @john

Just looked at the wiki page:

“The guests typically include chavs, or working class couples, families and friends who are concerned about a person or people close to them with a problem that they would like to be resolved. Guests on the show have been stereotyped as representing an ignorant underclass.”

    – SWEET! Classic day-time TV!
