March 20th 2012 – the Vernal Equinox – the “equal night” of Spring – on this date day and night, darkness and light, come into perfect balance. The first quarter of the year is at an end and a new season begins.
For us (Moore & Reppion, that is) it marks the beginning of a “final push” period of flat out work before we take a nine month(ish) break from comics to concentrate on our imminently expanding family.
Hopefully, you won’t even notice we’re gone since we’ll have an 8 issue series, a whole short story anthology, and some other interesting bits and bobs (possibly even our second Holmes series) coming out during that time.
This time next year, as the moonlight and sunlight hours balance once again, new projects yet unimagined will be filling our heads and clamoring to be told. Either that or we’ll be up to our necks in dirty nappies sleeping for short intervals whenever possible. Maybe both.
