The massive adaptation of Alice in Wonderland continues with another incredible 48 page issue (40 pages of story and art!) by Leah Moore, John Reppion and Erica Awano! The third issue begins the portion containing “Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There” and features Kittens and Chess and Kings and Queens!
The Chap saved!
At the end of May I posted about that most estimable publication The Chap Magazine being in a spot of financial bother (happens to the best of us old man, nothing to be ashamed of). They were appealing for donations so that they could afford the cost of going to print with their latest issue. I am very happy to report that, thanks to the deep digging of so many fine upstanding chaps and chapessess, the campaign to save The Chap has proves successful!
This from thechap.net
Ten days ago, The Chap launched an appeal to save this gentlemen’s journal from going under, and the response was overwhelming. Donations flooded in from all over the civilised world and countless rousing messages of support were posted. We were genuinely humbled by this, and had no idea how much desire there was to keep the Chap afloat.
Within a short time, enough funds were raised to proceed with publication of the June issue. We will get it on the shelves and doormats by 1st July, so it will arrive less than a month later than planned.
It makes me damned proud to be (a) chap!
